How about these glorious sunsets? When we start seeing scenes like this we know the deer hunters will be arriving soon - oh, and also the duck hunters!! I have been seeing some deer from my second story perch in the lodge.

Friends in Michigan told me this week that they are killing a lot of ducks - and seeing fewer hunters this year. Sounds like it's going to be a great season.

ReplyDeleteThe nice colorful photos above are now gone...as we don't have leaves on our trees for the most part. Hard to believe as we are just a couple states away her in Ohio.
Duck season opened here in mid-October. We had a super crop of wood ducks this year. Things have gone a bit flat now for a few weeks. We need some cold weather to bring some new birds down.
On another note, our deer rut is in full swing/ actually winding down a bit.
